Gov. Juanito Reyes Remulla

Juanito Reyes Remulla was born on April 14, 1933, in Toclong, Imus, Cavite, Crispin Remulla and Teofista Reyes,to a farmer couple. A front-runner in every class he attended during his student days, he finished valedictorian in the Medicion Elementary School, Imus. He graduated from the high school department of the Francisco Law College with the first honorable mention honor. He studied Law at the University of the Philippines and took fourth place in the 1956 bar examinations. Remulla served as a member of the provincial board of Cavite and was appointed twice as acting governor, the first time in 1964 and the second in 1965. In 1971, he was elected as a delegates of Cavite to the Constitutional Convention. On 25 September 1979, he was appointed Governor of Cavite after the untimely death of Governor Camerino. He served in this temporary capacity until the election for governor on January 30, 1980 when Remulla, a KBL candidate won over his Nacionalista opponent.

Status of the buildings

The status of the buildings that will be used in the actual site, as of June 21, 2016, includes the start of works in the 2nd level of building 1, groundworks for building 2, the third building has yet to be started.


268 students officially enrolled

As of June 17, 2016, there were 268 students officially enrolled. Housed in a temporary building lent by GEANHS, with 20 available classrooms, 11 sections were formed based on the different tracks offered by GJRRSHS.


School Year Started

It began the school year (June 13, 2016) at a temporary campus at GEANHS (PAGCOR Bldg.) its projected transfer of October or November, 2016.


A Senior High School awareness campaign

A Senior High School awareness campaign was intensified all over Imus City to inform and encourage the young Imuseños to enroll in SHS standalones in the Division of Imus City. On November 2015 the construction of the infrastructure of Gov. Juanito Reyes Remulla Senior was started which at first is composed of 3 school buildings with a total of 40 classrooms.
