SUPREME STUDENT GOVERNMENT

Governments in elementary schools student governments in secondary schools of the Department of Education, under the Office of the Undersecretary for Regional Operations. It is the foremost co-curricular student organization authorized to implement pertinent programs, projects, and activities in Philippine schools as mandated by the Department of Education.

MISSION

The Supreme Student Government of Gov. Juanito Reyes Remulla Senior High School shall promote mutual understanding through social, civic, intellectual, recreational, and scientific programs and activities.

SSG Officers

President

Nicole Ann N. Teotico

The president for overall meetings; enforce the GJRRSHS' constitution, by- laws and other regulations that may be promulgated; sign all official minutes, resolutions, correspondences, and other official papers of the SSG.

Vice President

John Kim Broqueza

To assist the president at all matters where her assistance is mandatory, assume the Office of the President if the position becomes vacant, supervise members in planning and arranging meetings, programs, and activities.

Secretary

To keep accurate records of the minutes and document proceedings of every meeting, keep a file of all pertinent documents and papers of the SSG and make them accessible to the studentry, and call and prepare all the notices from the SSG meetings

Treasurer

Jovelyn Urdaneta

Certify the legitimacy and correctness of the disbursement of fund. Act as the assistant head of the Finance Committee; Perform such other duties assigned by the SSG.

Auditor

John Nicko Villanueva

Audit all expenditures of the SSG funds; Assist the Treasurer in formulating guidelines and reports; Keep and update inventory of all the SSG’s property;

PIO

Daina Joy Llaneta

Popularize the thrusts and objectives of the SSG; Build and maintain a credible image of the SSG; Take charge in the promotion of SSG projects and activities; Head the Publicity Committee; and, Perform such other duties assigned by the SSG.

Peace Officer

Help the presiding officer to maintain peace and order during meetings; Act as disciplinary officer, if needed; Maintain peace and order within the premises of the school; Act as chief peace officer and over all Sergeant – At- Arms of subordinate organizations and classes; Chairman of the Students’ Welfare Committee and appoint its members; and, Perform such other duties assigned by the SSG.

Students interested in Veterinary Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Biomedical Research, and all other practices of Medicine are welcome to join. A journalism club allows students to experience a variety of journalism types and to gain real experience that not only looks good on a resume, but can build confidence for any journalistic career.
